Having been used for the 59th Antarctic research Unit to study lake ecosystems, this watch is now a proud symbol of how masterful and dexterous a G-SHOCK can be. A design inspired by the ROV red, orange, black and blue colour combination, this watch also features a stencilled Antarctic map on the case back, band and EL backlight.
The unique functions of the GWF-D1000ARR allows for optimal operation in the harshest environments, resisting the extreme colds faced in the antarctic. These functions include ascending speed indicator alerting a diver ascending at a speed greater than 10m/min, auto-memory logging up to 20 dive start times, duration and depth, and low temperature resistance.
Additional features to note are the sapphire crystal glass and carbon fibre band used to maintain outstanding durability. As with all Frogman, radio controlled timekeeping and solar powered batteries are used in this model.
